Without saying a single word about agriculture, he said that along with environmental protection, industries also have to be developed in Gujarat. But in 2023, due to at least 10 rains, farmers are estimated to have a loss of more than 3 lakh crores. This is happening for the last 10 to 12 years. However, World Environment Day does not show that the government has any plans.

Climate change is going to have a very bad effect in Gujarat in the year 2022-23. In this regard, instead of announcing the government scheme, sporadic programs are being done. In which the Forest Department started forest cover of 10,000 plants prepared by Miyawaki method near Gabbar mountain under the Green Ambaji project. Announced to prepare forest cover of 10 lakh trees in 100 hectare at 82 places in the state. Seed ball and seed planting in 100 to 200 hectare area was started with the help of drone technology in Ambaji and its surrounding hilly areas.

On March 31, 2023, it rained in many areas. Nine people died due to lightning and rain in Patan, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Banaskantha, Chhota Udepur, Amreli, Dhari, Rajula Jaffrabad, Savarkundla and Botad districts. Rainfall was recorded in 91 talukas of Jarat, mainly concentrated in Mehsana, Banaskantha, Ahmedabad, Patan, Gandhinagar, Sabarkantha, Bhavnagar, Kheda, Anand, Narmada and Aravalli districts. March 31, 2023- Unseasonal rains occurred in many areas of the state yesterday. Help is being sought from the state government regarding the loss.

April 19, 2023- Unseasonal rains caused huge damage to the standing crops of the farmers.

April 27, 2023 – There is a possibility of damage to paddy crop in Dholka due to monsoon.

April 30, 2023 – Unseasonal rains accompanied by heavy rains caused widespread damage to the mango crop in South Gujarat. Monsoon started in the morning.

May 1, 2023- Unseasonal rains badly damaged the mango crop.

May 5, 2023- Mango crop has suffered the most due to unseasonal rains in Barda.

May 6, 2023- Hailstorm in Junagadh has caused huge damage to the crop. The unseasonal rains for the last 5 days have shaken the mangoes.
