2022
In the Vibrant Summit postponed due to Corona in 2022, MoUs were signed for investment of Rs 18.87 lakh crore in 57,241 projects.
So the question is,
How much investment was made in 10 summits?
2 lakh industries were supposed to come, some came?
How many people are employed?
How much investment was made in which sector?
How many industries came in Saurashtra, South Gujarat, Central Gujarat and North Gujarat or Kutch and how much investment?
Public did not benefit from Modi
Did the summits really improve the people of Gujarat, the economic condition of the state and the well-being of the people? The summit had only become a state brand. Narendra Modi’s leadership was praised in the Vibrant Summit and he was called the fittest leader of India. Businessmen like Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Ratan Tata, Adi Godrej praised Narendra Modi’s role behind the development of Gujarat and said that due to his leadership Gujarat is developing all around. Before 2002, Gujarat’s development was fast.
The government may not make it official but this is the truth.

The percentage of completed projects was 10.77 percent. The project percentage was about 9.68 percent. However, the state government never released the details of the investment amount and the number of projects thereafter. Questions were raised several times on the signed MoUs, the amount of investment, employment opportunities, etc. The investment amount has not been disclosed since 2011.
Reveal details
Will the state government release a white paper detailing the expenditure incurred for organizing VGGIS, the MoUs signed and its investments, some of which are operational on the ground? How many jobs did you get? Keep all these details. So that people know whether it has really benefited people or just a single person. Vibrant Gujarat has not benefited Gujarat but has caused loss. Gujarat has got the name of the growth engine of the country. The contribution of VGGIS behind that is huge. But the engine had broken down.
Disadvantages
From 1980 to 1995, Gujarat’s state domestic yield (SDP) was twice the country’s GDP (gross domestic yield). While India’s GDP was 5.5 per cent, Gujarat’s SDP was more than 10 per cent. Which was double the national GDP, has become only 2 or 3 percent more.”
