An order has been given to demolish the three-storey illegal school of a BJP leader in Rajkot but it is not being demolished.
This was with the approval of Sagathia and former BJP leaders. Despite the order 16 months ago, no action was taken to demolish the Jai Kishan School located in Mavdi, the seal of this school which was sealed after the fire was also opened. This detail of the BJP scam has come to light after surveying 50 big illegal constructions occupied by the Sagathia gang in the West Zone. Till then the BJP leaders kept it suppressed.
It has been revealed today that the construction of the three-storey Jai Kishan School near Bapa Sitaram Chowk, Shri Hari Society Street No. 16 in Mavdi area of Ward No. 11 of Rajkot is illegal and yet it is being continuously occupied for one and a half years. Despite the order to demolish this school 16 months ago during the tenure of former TPO MD Sagathia, who is in jail for the crime of arson and bribery of crores of rupees, it was not implemented. It is said that the then BJP rulers had also camped at the school. Today, the city BJP worker Virdiya, who is not holding any post, associated with this school, exposed this scam that endangered the safety of the students. There was a lot of discussion in the city today.
Deputy Municipal Commissioner Chetan Nandani said that after reviewing the matter, after giving notice to demolish illegal constructions in the city, the then TPO ordered the demolition of those constructions which could not be regularized by the TP department and seven days were given to remove the construction.
The serious thing is that Sagathia gave notice to demolish the illegal construction on 1-4-2013 and later ordered to demolish it, but on whose request or financial transaction the construction was not demolished, this is a matter of investigation. An order has already been given to demolish more than 500 such large constructions in the western region, to implement which, inspection was done by teams of high-ranking officials at each place today. In which a three-storey structure of JK School was seen in the proposed area named Shri Hari Society in Mavdi.
The shocking thing is that despite illegal construction, classes from Lower KG to 10th were going on in this school. Officials said that the school is still open today. Not only this, despite illegal construction, it was approved as a school by the District Education Office. According to local sources, this school was also sealed along with many other schools after the fire incident in TRP Gamezone, but later the municipality opened the seal. More than three hundred students study in the school.
According to sources in the West Zone Construction-TP Department of the Municipality, a case has already been registered against Milanbhai Vekariya for demolishing the illegal construction of Jai Kishan School. If the school is in the proposed area then the construction plan, BU certificate. etc. and has not been found eligible for approval under the impact fee.
According to the information received from the BJP workers of the ward, the two-storey construction of this school was done four-five years ago, later a year and a half ago the third floor was also built and its use started.
Apart from this, according to the sources of the Municipal Corporation, during the site inspection of the illegal constructions to be demolished today, it has also come to light that the partial construction of Crystal School on the road leading to Ghanteshwar in Ward No. 12 is not allowed at all. 1, and action will also be taken in this regard. Apart from this school in Mavdi, Vavdi area, 10 big illegal constructions including garage, dairy, wadi, complex have also been surveyed, which have been ordered to be demolished.
In general, such a crumbling construction of the structure and Dhamdhamati school is unlikely to survive without the corruption of TP officials including BJP’s previous rulers Sagathia, and the question of what was administered has arisen today. Also, there is talk of BJP’s program being held in this school earlier.
Govind Virdia is just a worker, not an official – City BJP
Whether BU is complete or in Mavdi, the NOC of BJP workers should be withdrawn. When city BJP president Mukesh Doshi was contacted about the existence of a totting school called Jai Kishan School, he said that like lakhs of workers in the city, Govind Virdia is also just a worker, he has not been given any responsibility or post. The system should work according to the rules, the safety of people, students should be the top priority. BJP Ward No. 11 president Mahesh Pipaliya said that I have been the ward president for about a year, we have not made any recommendation for this BJP worker’s school, whether we did it before or not, I do not know.
For the first time, electricity connection of illegal schools will be cut
Deputy Commissioner Chetan Nandani said that Jai Kishan School has been ordered to be demolished under Section 260(2) in July-2023, while visiting this school today, it was in progress. A huge structure has been erected. As per the new rule, any unauthorized building, non-fire safety building in Rajkot has been disconnected so that it cannot be used keeping in mind public safety. Accordingly, a report will be given to PGVCL.
