CM honours stalwart personalities of Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today categorically stated that the present time is significant for Gujarat as the state has attained  leadership in every sector in the country; as a result of this, US President Donald Trump is commencing his journey to India from Gujarat, and in particular from Ahmedabad.  He was speaking at a function organized by a leading TV channel ‘ABP Asmita’ for honouring giant personalities of the state in Ahmedabad, this late evening.

The Chief Minister further stated that Gujarat’s fame and prestige have spread across the globe. We are the people whose culture is to wish welfare for all. Thus, we should make welfare with mind set of ‘Not I but with you’.

In this reference, Mr. Rupani said the welfare of people can’t be realized by increasing materialistic facilities, but by increasing ‘Happiness Index’ of the citizens, that ultimately fulfills the concept of ‘Ram Rajya’ (means  virtue, morality and justice are the core ideals of the system).

On the occasion, Mr. Rupani honoured dignitaries for their noticeable contributions in their respective fields. These dignitaries included litterateur Mr. Bhikhudaan Gadhvi, Dr. Arunbhai for education, Mr. Raghuveer Chaudhary for literatures, AMUL (Anand) for business, Mr. Nilesh Mandlewala for social service (organ donation), Mr. Nayan Mongiya for Cricket, Parthiv Gohil for Music, and Kiran Kumar for film industries.

Others who spoke on the occasion included, Mr. Ronakbhai Patel, Channel Head, and ABP Asmita Channel.

The event was also graced by Ahmedabad City Mayor Mrs. Bijalben Patel, Mr. Avinash Pande – CEO, ABP Asmita, and others.
