DAP’s new option to save subsidy of Rs 3,000 crore in Gujarat

The government has increased the subsidy on DAP by Rs 2501 per bag. Now DAP will be given a subsidy of Rs 2501 per bag instead of Rs 1650. Fertilizers are given at subsidized prices by increasing subsidies to increase grain production.

In October 2021, the government had increased the subsidy on DAP to Rs 1,650 per bag in the Ravi season 2021-22. In the first year 2020-21, the subsidy was Rs 512 per bag, which has been increased five times to Rs 2501.

The Central Government has allocated Rs. 57,150 crore, increasing it to Rs. 60,939.

The national food grain target for 2022-23 has been fixed at 3280 lakh tonnes. The estimated production during the current year is 3160 lakh tonnes.

The national target of pulses and oilseeds for the financial year 2022-23 is 295.5 lakh tonnes and 413.4 lakh tonnes, respectively.

The target of nutritious food grains production has been increased from 115.3 lakh tonnes in the financial year 2021-22 to 205.0 lakh tonnes during the financial year 2022-23.

The subsidy has been increased from Rs 512 per bag to Rs 2,501 in 2021-22 and 2020-21.

Cow urine: five liters
Cow’s milk: two liters
Cow Ghee: 500 grams
Cow dung: 3 kg
Cow curd: 2 kg
Ripe Bananas: 1 dozen
Coconut water: 2 liters
Sugarcane juice: 2 liters
