મહારાષ્ટ્રમાં કોરોના વાયરસનો ખરાબ પ્રભાવ છે. પુનામાં પણ કોરોના ચેપનું પ્રમાણ વધી રહ્યું છે. આવી સ્થિતિમાં, શહેરની આઝમ કોલેજ ઓફ એજ્યુકેશનએ તેના કેમ્પસની અંદર આવેલા મસ્જિદના હોલને ક્વોરેન્ટાઇન સેન્ટરમાં ફેરવી દીધી છે. ક્વોરેન્ટાઇન સેન્ટરનું પરિવર્તન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું જેથી લોકોને જરૂર પડે ત્યારે અહીં ક્વોરેન્ટાઈન કરી શકાય.
આઝમ મસ્જિદની અંદર આવેલા આ 9,000 ચોરસ ફૂટના હોલમાં 80 લોકોને એકસાથે અલગ કરી શકાય છે.
આ દિવસોમાં મસ્જિદમાં નમાઝ બંધ છે અને તેનો હ હોલ ખાલી છે, તેથી તેને સંસર્ગનિષેધ કેન્દ્રમાં ફેરવવાની સારી પહેલ છે.
મસ્જિદની અંદર પહેલાથી જ ચાહકો, લાઇટ અને શૌચાલયો છે. હોલની સફાઈ કર્યા પછી ત્યાં પથારી મૂકવામાં આવ્યા છે.[:en]At this time service of the country is most important
