There were 43 sculptures in the last flower show which has been increased to 61 in the 2025 flower show. The flower show will be prepared from about 15 lakh plants from India and abroad.
Entry fee of flower exhibition should be increased
It is reported that the AMC has doubled the entry fee for the flower show to be held in Ahmedabad next month. In which the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Flower Show from Monday to Friday will cost Rs. 70 and Rs 100 entry fee on Saturday-Sunday. Apart from this, children of schools under AMC have been given free entry, while for children of other schools there is a ticket of Rs 10.
Like last year, the entry fee of the flower show was Rs 50 from Monday to Friday and Rs 75 from Saturday to Sunday. The flower show held last year got a place in the Guinness Book of Records. In which the Mayor of AMC was given his certificate.
Every year 10 to 12 crore rupees are spent, but this year the cost has increased by five crores and the flower show will be organized at a cost of 17 to 18 crores. However, the flower exhibition attracts a large number of people. Due to which a good income is also recorded.
