Gujarat BJP MLA Madhu and son Deepak revolt, party will not take any action

Gandhinagar, 9 February 2021

Vadodara BJP MLA Madhu Srivastava’s son and BJP councilor Deepak demanded a ticket from the BJP. But he was not given a ticket by the party. Hence Deepak filed an independent form. Which was canceled by the State Election Commission. However, the BJP has not suspended Deepak from the party.

The BJP will not take any action against Madhu Srivastava even if the son of the BJP MLA has filed a form against the BJP candidate. BJP state president c. R. Patil clarified that his son fills the form and his party is different. Therefore, BJP will not take any action against Madhu Srivastava.

State President of Gujarat BJP c. R. Patil said that his party was different if his son filled the form. That is why there is no need to take action against them. He could not get a BJP ticket. An independent does not require a ticket. It is also true that there are many parties. If Srivastava had done such a thing himself, we would have taken one hundred percent action.

Many politicians and former corporators have lost their jobs as the BJP state president has changed the rules for the selection of a candidate in local body elections. So they are angry with the party.

So in some places, there is resentment among the active workers who give tickets to the inactive BJP workers. Therefore, it would not be surprising if the BJP suffers in the elections due to internal divisions within the BJP.

In Gujarat, some BJP and Congress workers are angry about not getting tickets. Therefore some leaders are partnering with the party and joining another party or even running for office.
