[:en]51% of total IEM made upto Oct-2019 in India
Ahmedabad: Gujarat has added 51.23 % letter of intent Industrial Entrepreneurs
Memorandum (IEM) for industrial investments made in the country. Gujarat Government clame.
Of the total IEMs investment worth Rs. 427494-crore filed upto October, 2019 in
the country, Gujarat alone has garnered IEMs investment worth of Rs.
218,611— crore for setting up the industries here. In other words, Gujarat has
garnered more than half of the total IEMs filed in the country.
In last 3-years, of the total 2,574 big industries setup in India, Gujarat alone had
garnered 735 major industries.
Gujarat has achieved more than double means 4,41,585 MSME compared to MSME setup
in last three years. At present more than 34- lakh MSMEs are operational in Gujarat, which generate a large number of employment in Gujarat.[:]
