First he apologized to the land for the destruction of the environment and prayed profusely that the earth be blessed for this noble cause. In the beginning the whole space was open and this caused some difficulty.
First planting
Wheat and millet were first sown and whatever was produced was sold free of cost in the village. Planted 300 lemon trees so that animals like pigs do not eat them. Chickadees can lay their eggs in these leaves by making a nest between the thorns. The gentleman from Kutch went ahead and broke the fence of thorns. Then made a strong wall around the land. In 2007, 12 lakh rupees received at the time of retirement were deposited here.
14 years of exile
Both of them decided to give up material comforts and live only in the presence of nature. Because of this decision, he remained without electricity for about 14 years. 14 years of continuous hard work created biodiversity without any social interaction. It was a good read for him. The retired teacher couple who built Mangal and Jungle in the desert between Shankheshwar and Bahucharaji have become an inspiration to many. No outside guest was allowed to come here for 12 years.
