Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), a Maharatna CPSE and a leading NBFC in the power sector has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat (GoG) on January 3, 2024 at Gandhinagar.The main objective of the MoU is to provide extended financial support for generation, transmission and distribution projects of the State.

Micron will get financial support of 50 per cent of the total project cost from the Government of India and incentives of 20 per cent of the total project cost from the Government of Gujarat.

It is located at a distance of 55 km from Surat. The park is located at a distance of 55 km from Surat Airport, 66 km from nearest port Hazira, 19 km from nearest railway station Navsari. The park will have excellent connectivity to Mumbai and Delhi through the proposed route of Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC).
