10 thousand crores were given to the farmers of Gujarat in natural calamities in 9 years

In 9 years, the Gujarat government has given 88.76 lakh farmers Rs. 10,532 crores were given.

After heavy rains and unseasonal rains in 2015-16, 1,82,041 farmers were given Rs. 279.22 crore assistance was given.

In the year 2017-18, in the event of heavy rains, floods and soil erosion, 7,69,570 farmers suffered a loss of Rs. 1,706. 60 crores were given.

An amount of Rs 1,678.09 crore was given to 17,59,614 farmers in calamities like heavy rains, floods and drought in 2018-19.

In unseasonal rains in 2019-20, 33,18,097 farmers got Rs. Assistance of Rs 2,489.58 crore was given.

2,905.97 crore paid to 19,03,575 farmers affected by heavy rains, floods in 2020-21.

In 2021-22, 7,67,330 farmers got Rs. 1,240.58 crores were given.

Due to heavy rains in 2022-23, 1,38,691 farmers will get Rs. Payment of aid amount of 147 crores.

Payment of assistance of Rs 85.49 crore to 37,045 farmers in case of unseasonal rains in 2023-24.

Thus, in the period of last 9 years, the Government of Gujarat has given assistance of more than 10,000 crores to the farmers in natural calamities in Gujarat.
