New Jersey’s Healthcare Heroes Award to two Gujaratis

Dr. Tushar Patel and Ritesh Shah have been honored. The Public Health Hero Awards were received on 10 August 2022 by Dr. Tushar Patel and Ritesh Shah in the field of health. NJBIZ received the 2022 New Jersey Healthcare Heroes Award in the Public Health Hero Award category.

Doctor Patel and Shah have worked together for the past two decades. Doctor. Tushar Patel through his New Jersey non-profit organization Indian Health Camp – IHCNJ since 1999.
Doctor. Under the leadership of Tushar Patel, the institute has provided free services to more than 12,000 patients. Free health check-up services were provided to the insured or underinsured. More than 3,500 chronic disease abnormalities have been detected to prevent disease and save lives.

Dr. Patel received the 2018 NJ BIZ Healthcare Heroes Award for the Education Hero-Organization Category to IHCNJ for community support for COVID-19 since March 2020.

Business Entrepreneur and Pharmacist Ritesh Shah has been running a charitable pharmacy with Indian Health Camp in New Jersey for the past two decades. Medicines for Patients, Vaccinations, Health Education and Pharmacy donated $100,000 worth of medicines to people in need in New Jersey.
