In Ahmedabad, people make 1811 complaints daily to the Municipal Corporation regarding sewage related problems. In the three months of May, June, July, 96 thousand 889 complaints of sewage, drainage and polluted water were received.
Among these complaints, there were 24 thousand 360 complaints of polluted water due to water and sewerage line leakage.
Drains and manholes are also cleaned. But, the complaints related to sewerage are increasing instead of decreasing.
In the three-month period from May to July, the Municipal Corporation system received a total of 1 lakh 66 thousand 679 complaints from 7 zones. Among these complaints, the highest number of complaints, about 264 complaints per day, were about overflowing of drains, back-up of sewage, polluted water.
In the Central Zone, the system received 25 thousand 525 complaints of drainage, engineering and 831 complaints of storm water drainage in three months. In the Northern Zone, 21 thousand 7 complaints of drainage, engineering and 1192 complaints of storm water drainage were received.
Muster stations and CCRS in 48 wards. The responsibility of resolving complaints of water, sewerage, road etc. lies with the employees of the Engineering Department including Assistant Engineer, Assistant City Engineer, Deputy City Engineer working at the ward level.
People complain about basic amenities, most of these complaints are being closed without resolving, it was presented in the meeting of the Standing Committee. 20 percent random check of complaints will be done by the employees working at the ward level.

The complaint redressal program includes property tax, clerk and business tax certificate bets, Engineer Department Water and Sewerage Road Work, Property Department – Illegal Unauthorized Construction or Encroachment, Health Department – Birth-Death Certificate PMJAY (Card In) UCD Department-PM Swa Nidhi Scheme. , Solid Waste Management, Door to Door Scheme, Dustbin complaints were coming in large numbers. Garden Complaint
Citizens of 290 small and big gardens run by the Municipal Corporation can do it online. Started taking complaints by scanning QR code, but did not proceed further. WhatsApp failed
Two years ago, a decision was taken to take complaints through WhatsApp messages. In which 7567855303 was used to register complaints about road, water, sewage, garbage, health, lamps and stray cattle in WhatsApp. This was a smart city project which was not successful. People were informed through Facebook.
Road complaint
If the road is bad, then complaint can be made on phone number 155303. There is information about all the routes on the website. There is information about when the road work is completed and the road defect liability is not completed. The road built in 5 years is often called indestructible. But it breaks.
