Another slap to Gujarat – Rs 2 lakh a year for a lion and 11 lakh for a tiger

Gandhinagar, 16 March 2020

Corporate politics leader Parimal Nathwani has exposed Narendra Modi’s double move. Despite making Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of Gujarat, he has been constantly doing injustice to Gujarat. He repeatedly demanded Manmohan Singh as Chief Minister to provide sufficient funds for the lion of Gir. But after Modi became Prime Minister, Gujarat has been slapping to give money to the lions of Gir. The Reliance Director has asked questions.

Spending behind a lion

The Central Government has allocated Rs. 1010.42 crore and 523 lions for Rs. 32 crores. Behind a lion, Rs. 6,11,854 spent. It spends Rs 2 lakh a year. In which the cost of the Government of Gujarat is calculated, it is Rs.6 lakhs.

Spending behind a tiger

Such is the tiger. Governments are spending 5.50 times more than lions on tigers. A tiger has spent Rs34,05,527. The government spends Rs 11 lakh a year, which is more than the amount spent on man.

More cost than tiger than lion

Under the Wildlife Residential Development Scheme sponsored by the Central Government, the Central Government has allocated Rs.1010.42 crore for Project Tiger and Rs. 32 crore fund. Total spent Rs.1042 crore.

The Central Government has sanctioned Rs. 1 billion for the year 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 respectively under the Wildlife Residential Development Scheme in Gujarat, including the protection of Asian lions. 4.98 crore, Rs. 5.59 crore and Rs. 21.42 crore was funded. For the same period, the Central Government has allocated Rs. 342.25 crore, Rs. 345 crore and Rs. 323.17 crore was funded.

Explaining Modi’s policy, Nathwani said, “The data provided for the promotion of lions does not include the funds provided by the Gujarat government. The State Government has recently allocated Rs. 350 crores was allowed. But, the Center needs to allocate more funds for the breeding of Asian lions as they are found only in Gir and Gujarat, while tigers are found in many states of India and in many Asian countries. ”

98 crores allocation behind the lion

Under the Asiatic Lion Conservation Project of the Centrally Sponsored Wildlife Housing Development Scheme as part of the Recovery Program to protect critically endangered species, Rs. The Asiatic Lion Conservation Project, which has an allocation of 97.85 crore, was started.

Tigers grew higher than lions

The number of lions increased from 359 in 2005 to 45.68 percent in 523 in 2015, while the number of tigers increased from 73.91 percent in 1706 in the last three census to 2967 in 2018. Thus, there has been success in increasing the population of lions more than lions. Which is a big lie for BJP and Narendra Modi who ruled Gujarat for 25 years.

Assistance to human victims

In case of human death or permanent disability Rs. 5 lakh, Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 25,000 has been incurred while the cost of damage to property / crop has to be paid by the State or Union Territory Governments.
