CM will launch state-wide Pulse Polio Campaign

Ahmedabad: Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani will launch the state-wide ‘Pulse Polio Immunization Round’ campaign by administering two drops of polio vaccine in Gandhinagar, tomorrow.

With an aim to fulfill the objective ‘Polio Free India, Polio Free Gujarat’, over 80-lakh children, aged between 0-5 years, will be vaccinated by administering two drops of polio vaccine by 152,000 health personnel from 33,641 booths setup across Gujarat.

The Chief Minister will launch the campaign from the Community Center, Ministerial Residential Enclave, Gandhinagar, on Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m.

Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Nitinbhai Patel and Minister of State for Health Mr. Kishorebhai Kanani will participate in the campaign from Kudasan and Surat, respectively.
