પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ આત્મનિર્ભર ભારત બનાવવા અપીલ કરી; પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ રૂ. 20 લાખ કરોડનું વિસ્તૃત પેકેજ આપવાનું એલાન કર્યું
પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે રાષ્ટ્રજોગ સંબોધન કર્યું હતું. રોગચાળા સામેની લડતમાં મૃત્યુ પામેલા લોકોને યાદ કરીને પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, કોવિડ-19ને કારણે ઊભી થયેલી કટોકટી અણધારી છે, પણ આ લડાઈમાં આપણે આપણી જાતને સુરક્ષિત રાખવાની સાથે આગળ પણ વધતા રહેવાનું છે, પ્રગતિ પણ કરવાની છે. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, 21મી સદીને ભારતની સદી બનાવવાના સ્વપ્નને સાકાર કરવા એ સુનિશ્ચિત કરતા આગળ વધવાનું છે કે દેશ આત્મનિર્ભર બની જાય. તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, સ્વનિર્ભર ભારત પાંચ આધાર ધરાવશે એટલે કે અર્થતંત્ર, માળખાગત સુવિધાઓ; ત્રણ, વ્યવસ્થા, જે 21મી સદીની ટેકનોલોજીથી સંચાલિત વ્યવસ્થાઓ પર આધારિત હોય; જીવંત વસ્તી; અને માગ. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ વિશેષ આર્થિક પેકેજની જાહેરાત કરી હતી અને આત્મનિર્ભર ભારતની અપીલ કરી હતી. તેમણે નોંધ્યું હતું કે, કોવિડ કટોકટી દરમિયાન સરકાર દ્વારા અગાઉની જાહેરાતો અને આરબીઆઈ દ્વારા લેવાયેલા નિર્ણયો સાથે સંયુક્તપણે આ પેકેજ રૂ. 20 લાખ કરોડનું છે, જે ભારતની જીડીપીના લગભગ 10 ટકાને સમકક્ષ છે. તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આ પેકેજ ‘આત્મનિર્ભર ભારત’ હાંસલ કરવા અતિ જરૂરી પ્રોત્સાહન પ્રદાન કરશે.

નાણામંત્રીએ વિશેષ પેકેજના પ્રથમ તબક્કાની વિગતો જાહેર કરી, MSME પર વિશેષ ધ્યાન આપવામાં આવ્યું

 

ડૉ. હર્ષવર્ધને પંજાબમાં કોવિડ-19 વ્યવસ્થાપન માટે તૈયારીઓ અને ચેપનો ફેલાવો રોકવા અંગેના પગલાંની સમીક્ષા કરી
કેન્દ્રીય આરોગ્ય અને પરિવાર કલ્યાણ મંત્રી ડૉ. હર્ષવર્ધને આજે વીડિયો કોન્ફરન્સના માધ્યમથી પંજાબના આરોગ્યમંત્રી સાથે ઉચ્ચ સ્તરી બેઠક યોજીને રાજ્યમાં કોવિડ-19ના વ્યવસ્થાપન માટે તૈયારીઓ અને ચેપનો ફેલાવો રોકાવા માટે નિયંત્રણના પગલાંની સમીક્ષા કરી હતી. ડૉ. હર્ષવર્ધને જણાવ્યું હતું કે, 13 મે 2020 સુધીમાં દેશમાં કોવિડ-19ના કુલ 74,281 કેસ નોંધાયા છે જેમાંથી 24,386 દર્દીઓ સાજા થઇ ગયા છે જ્યારે આ બીમારીના કારણે કુલ 2,415 દર્દીઓના મૃત્યુ નીપજ્યાં છે. છેલ્લા 24 કલાકમાં કોવિડ-19ના વધુ 3,525 કેસ પોઝિટીવ હોવાની પુષ્ટિ થઇ છે. છેલ્લા 14 દિવસમાં કેસ બમણા થવાનો દર 11 હતો જે છેલ્લા ત્રણ દિવસમાં સુધરીને 12.6 થયો હોવાનું તેમણે નોંધ્યું હતું. તેમણે ઉમેર્યું હતું કે, આ બીમારીના કારણે મૃત્યુ દર 3.2% છે જ્યારે સાજા થવાનો દર 32.8% નોંધાયો છે. તેમણે એવું પણ ઉમેર્યું હતું કે, (ગઇકાલ સુધીમાં) કોવિડ-19ના સક્રિય કેસોમાંથી કુલ 2.75% દર્દીઓ ICUમાં, 0.37% વેન્ટિલેટર પર અને 1.89% દર્દીઓ ઓક્સિજન સપોર્ટ પર છે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં કોવિડ-19ના કુલ 18,56,477 પરીક્ષણો કરવામાં આવ્યા છે જ્યારે ગઇકાલે 94708 નમૂનાનું પરીક્ષણ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. ડૉ. હર્ષવર્ધને જણાવ્યું હતું કે, પંજાબે આયુષમાન ભારત- આરોગ્ય અને સુખાકારી કેન્દ્રોનું પરિચાલન ખૂબ જ સફળતાપૂર્વક કર્યું છે. ડાયાબિટિસ, હાઇપરટેન્શન અને ત્રણ સામાન્ય કેન્સર (મોં, સ્તન અને કેર્વિક્સ)ની તપાસ માટે તેમજ મોટાપાયે લોકોને વ્યાપક પ્રમાણમાં પ્રાથમિક આરોગ્ય સેવાઓનું વિસ્તરણ કરવા માટે પણ તેનો ઉપયોગ થઇ શકે છે.

 

01 જૂન 2020થી દેશભરમાં કેન્દ્રીય સશસ્ત્ર પોલીસદળો (CAPF)ની કેન્ટીનો અને સ્ટોર્સ પર હવે માત્ર સ્વદેશી ઉત્પાદનોનું વેચાણ થશે
ગૃહ મંત્રાલયે એવો નિર્ણય લીધો છે કે, તમામ કેન્દ્રીય સશસ્ત્ર પોલીસદળો (CAPF)ની કેન્ટીનો અને સ્ટોર્સ પર હવે માત્ર સ્વદેશી ઉત્પાદનોનું વેચાણ કરવામાં આવશે. 01 જૂન 2020થી દેશભરમાં તમામ CAPF કેન્ટીનો પર આનો અમલ શરૂ થઇ જશે, જેની કુલ ખરીદી લગભગ 2800 કરોડ રૂપિયા છે. તેમાં લગભગ 10 લાખ CAPF કર્મચારીઓના 50 લાખ પરિવારજનો સ્વદેશી ચીજોનો ઉપયોગ કરશે. ગૃહમંત્રીએ દેશની જનતાને પણ અપીલ કરતા કહ્યું હતું કે, “તમે દેશમાં બનેલા ઉત્પાદનોનો વધુમાં વધુ ઉપયોગ કરો અને અન્ય લોકોને પણ આ માટે પ્રોત્સાહન આપો. અત્યારે, પાછળ રહેવાનો સમય નથી પરંતુ આપત્તિને અવસરમાં પરિવર્તિત કરવાનો સમય છે.”

શ્રી નીતિન ગડરીએ MSME, ગ્રામ્ય અને કુટીર ઉદ્યોગ ક્ષેત્ર માટે પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જાહેર કરેલા આર્થિક પેકેજને આવકાર્યું; કહ્યું કે, આનાથી આ ક્ષેત્ર નવા શિખરો સર કરશે
કેન્દ્રીય MSME તેમજ માર્ગ પરિવહન અને ધોરીમાર્ગ મંત્રી શ્રી નીતિન ગડકરીએ પ્રધાનમંત્રી દ્વારા જાહેર કરવામાં આવેલા રૂપિયા 20 લાખ કરોડના રાહત પેકેજને આવકાર્યું હતું. તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આ ઐતિહાસિક પેકેજ દ્વારા, પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ MSME, ગ્રામ્ય અને કુટીર ઉદ્યોગો ક્ષેત્રની અપેક્ષાઓને પરિપૂર્ણ કરી છે. શ્રી ગડકરીએ જણાવ્યું હતું, વિપુલ પ્રમાણમાં સંસાધનો, બહેતર ટેકનોલોજી અને કાચામાલની ઉપલબ્ધતા સાથે, ભારત તમામ ક્ષેત્રોમાં ટૂંક સમયમાં જ આત્મનિર્ભર બની શકશે.

વંદે ભારત મિશન અંતર્ગત 7 મે 2020થી અત્યાર સુધીમાં 8503 ભારતીયો 43 ફ્લાઇટમાં વિદેશથી વતન પરત ફર્યા
વંદે ભારત મિશન અંતર્ગત 7 મે 2020થી 6 દિવસમાં સુધીમાં 8503 ભારતીયો એર ઇન્ડિયા અને એર ઇન્ડિયા એક્સપ્રેસની 43 ફ્લાઇટમાં વિદેશથી વતન પરત ફર્યા છે. ભારત સરકારે 7 મે 2020ના રોજ વંદે મિશનની શરૂઆત કરી છે જેનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય કોવિડ-19 મહામારીના કારણે વિદેશમાં ફસાયેલા ભારતીયોને વતન પરત લાવવાનો છે જે સરકારની સૌથી મોટી પહેલોમાંથી એક છે. એર ઇન્ડિયા પોતાની સહાયક એર ઇન્ડિયા એક્સપ્રેસ સાથે મળીને 12 દેશ એટલે કે અમેરિકા, બ્રિટન, બાંગ્લાદેશ, સિંગાપોર, સાઉદી અરબ, કુવૈત, ફિલિપાન્સ, યુનાઇટેડ આરબ અમિરાત અને મલેશિયા માટે કુલ 64 ઉડાન (એર ઇન્ડિયાની 42 અને એર ઇન્ડિયા એક્સપ્રેસની 24)નું સંચાલન કરી રહી છે જેથી પહેલા તબક્કામાં 14,800 ભારતીયોને પરત લાવી શકાય.

ભારતીય રેલવે દ્વારા સમગ્ર દેશમાં 13 મે 2020 સુધીમાં 642 “શ્રમિક વિશેષ ટ્રેન”નું પરિચાલન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. વિવિધ ગંતવ્ય સ્થળોએ પહોંચેલી આ 642 ટ્રેનો – આંધ્રપ્રદેશ (3 ટ્રેન), બિહાર (169 ટ્રેન), છત્તીસગઢ (6 ટ્રેન), હિમાચલ પ્રદેશ (1 ટ્રેન), જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીર (3 ટ્રેન), ઝારખંડ (40 ટ્રેન), કર્ણાટક (1 ટ્રેન), મધ્યપ્રદેશ (53 ટ્રેન), મહારાષ્ટ્ર (3 ટ્રેન), મણીપૂર (1 ટ્રેન), મિઝોરમ (1 ટ્રેન), ઓડિશા (38 ટ્રેન), રાજસ્થાન (8 ટ્રેન), તામિલનાડુ (1 ટ્રેન), તેલંગાણા (1 ટ્રેન), ત્રિપૂરા (1 ટ્રેન), ઉત્તરપ્રદેશ (301 ટ્રેન), ઉત્તરાખંડ (4 ટ્રેન), પશ્ચિમ બંગાળ (7 ટ્રેન) જેવા વિવિધ રાજ્યોમાં પહોંચી છે.

FCIએ લૉકડાઉન દરમિયાન અંદાજે 160 LMT ખાદ્યાન્નનું રાજ્યો/ કેન્દ્ર શાસિત પ્રદેશોમાં વિતરણ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે
FCI પાસે દેશની જરૂરિયાતને ધ્યાનમાં રાખતા પૂરતા પ્રમાણમાં જથ્થો ઉપલબ્ધ છે. 1 મે 2020ના રોજની સ્થિતિ અનુસાર, 642.7 લાખ મેટ્રિક ટન જથ્થો હતો જેમાંથી 285.03 લાખ મેટ્રિક ટન ચોખા અને 357.7 લાખ મેટ્રિક ટન ઘઉંનો જથ્થો હતો. 12.05.2020 સુધીમાં 159.36 લાખ મેટ્રિક ટન ખાદ્યાન્ન વિવિધ યોજનાઓ અંતર્ગત વિતરિત કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. રાજ્ય સરકારોએ NFSA અંતર્ગત 60.87 લાખ મેટ્રિક ટન ખાદ્યાન્નનો જથ્થો ઉપાડી લીધો છે જે દોઢ મહિનાની જરૂરિયાતને સમકક્ષ છે. વધુમાં, PMGKAY અંતર્ગત 120 લાખ મેટ્રિક ટનની જરૂરિયાત સામે 79.74 લાખ મેટ્રિક ટન જથ્થો ઉપાડવામાં આવ્યો છે જે બે મહિનાની ફાળવણીની સમકક્ષ છે.

FCI દ્વારા સમગ્ર દેશમાં પૂરતા પ્રમાણમાં ખાદ્યાન્નનો જથ્થો સુનિશ્ચિત કરવા માટે વિવિધ પગલાં લેવામાં આવ્યા

મિશન સાગર: INS કેસરીએ માલદીવ્સનો ખાદ્ય ચીજોનો પૂરવઠો સોંપ્યો
‘મિશન સાગર’ના ભાગરૂપે, ભારતીય નૌસેનાનું જહાજ INS કેસરી 12 મે 2020ના રોજ માલદીવ્સની રાજધાની માલેના બંદર પર પહોંચ્યું હતું. ભારત સરકાર મિત્ર વિદેશી રાષ્ટ્રોને વર્તમાન સ્થિતિમાં શક્ય એટલી મદદ કરી રહી છે અને તે દિશામાં INS કેસરીમાં માલદીવ્સના લોકો માટે 580 ટન ખાદ્યચીજોનો જથ્થો લઇ જવામાં આવ્યો હતો જે ત્યાં સોંપી દેવામાં આવ્યો છે.

મોદી સરકાર પોતાના કર્મચારીઓની સુખાકારી માટે અને તેમની ફરિયાદોના ન્યાયપૂર્ણ નિવારણ માટે પ્રતિબદ્ધ છે: ડૉ. જીતેન્દ્રસિંહ

કોવિડ-19 મહામારી દરમિયાન એક અનન્ય પહેલ રૂપે કેન્દ્રીય મંત્રી ડૉ. જીતેન્દ્રસિંહે આજે વીડિયો કોન્ફરન્સના માધ્યમથી DoPT, DARPG અને DoPPW વિભાગોના સેક્શન ઓફિસર સ્તરના સ્ટાફ અને અધિકારીઓ સાથે વાર્તાલાપ કર્યો હતો. ડૉ. સિંહે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, મોદી સરકાર પોતાના કર્મચારીઓની સુખાકારી માટે હંમેશા પ્રતિબદ્ધ છે અને તેમના કલ્યાણ માટે શ્રેષ્ઠ પ્રમાણમાં સંવેદનશીલતા સાથે ચિંતિત રહે છે. તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે, કોવિડ કટોકટી દરમિયાન, વર્ક ફ્રોમ હોમની સિસ્ટમ ખૂબ જ સારી રીતે અનુસરવામાં આવે છે અને ઓફિસોમાં માત્ર 33 ટકા સ્ટાફ હાજર રહેવા છતાં વિના અવરોધે કામ પૂરા પડે છે તે કામ માટે અનુકૂળ માહોલનું દૃશ્ટાંત છે.

શ્રી નીતિન ગડકરીએ સ્થાનિક કાચા માલનો ઉપયોગ કરીને ઉત્પાદન કરવા માટે કૃષિ, મત્સ્યપાલન અને વન પેદાશ MSME પર ભાર મૂક્યો
મંત્રીશ્રીએ પુનરોચ્ચાર કર્યો હતો કે, નવા ગ્રીન એક્સપ્રેસ ધોરીમાર્ગો ઔદ્યોગિક ક્લસ્ટરો, પોતાના ક્ષેત્રમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ ટેકનોલોજીથી સજ્જ લોજિસ્ટિક્સ પાર્કોમાં ભાવિ રોકાણો કરવા માટે ઉદ્યોગોને તકો પૂરી પાડે છે. તેમણે મંતવ્ય આપ્યું હતું કે, ઉદ્યોગોના વિકેન્દ્રીકરણ પર કામ કરવાની જરૂર છે અને દેશમાં ગ્રામીણ, આદિજાતિ તેમજ પછાત વિસ્તારો પર વધુ ધ્યાન કેન્દ્રિત કરવાની જરૂર છે. કેન્દ્રીય મંત્રીએ એવું પણ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, નિકાસમાં વધારો થાય તેના પર પણ વિશેષ ધ્યાન કેન્દ્રિત કરવાની જરૂર છે અને ઉર્જા ખર્ચ, હેરફેર ખર્ચ તેમજ ઉત્પાદન ખર્ચ ઓછો કરવા માટે જરૂરી પદ્ધતિઓ અપનાવવી જોઇએ જેથી વૈશ્વિક બજારમાં વધુ સ્પર્ધાત્મકતા કરી શકાય.

આદિજાતિ બાબતોના મંત્રી શ્રી અર્જૂન મુંડાએ “આદિજાતિની આજીવિકા અને સલામતી” મુદ્દે રાજ્યો/ કેન્દ્ર શાસિત પ્રદેશો સાથે વીડિયો કોન્ફરન્સ દ્વારા ચર્ચા કરી
આ બેઠકમાં સહભાગીઓને સંબોધતા શ્રી અર્જૂન મુંડાએ વધારેલા લઘુતમ ટેકાના ભાવે ગૌણ વન પેદાશોની ખરીદી કરીને આદિજાતિઓની આજીવિકા ટકાવી રાખવામાં સહકાર આપવા બદલ રાજ્યોને અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા હતા. આદિજાતિ બાબતોના મંત્રી શ્રી અર્જૂન મુંડાએ રાજ્યોમાં પ્રધાનમંત્રીની વનધન યોજનાની કામગીરીની પણ સમીક્ષા કરી હતી. તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીની દૂરંદેશી અનુસાર આદિજાતિ લોકોના ઉત્પાદનોને વૈશ્વિક બજારમાં લઇ જવા માટે હજુ તેમાં મૂલ્યવર્ધન કરવાની જરૂર છે. શ્રી અર્જૂન મુંડાએ કોવિડ-19ના કારણે ઉભી થયેલી અભૂતપૂર્વ સ્થિતિના કારણે ઘરે પરત ફરી રહેલા આદિજાતિ વિસ્થાપિત શ્રમિકો અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે રાજ્યો દ્વારા કરવામાં આવેલી વ્યવસ્થાઓની પણ સમીક્ષા કરી હતી.

ડૉ. જીતેન્દ્રસિંહે જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીર તેમજ લદ્દાખમાં કોવિડ-19 સંબંધિત વ્યવસ્થાઓ અને જમ્મુ સુધી નિયમિત ટ્રેન સેવાઓના ફરી આરંભની સમીક્ષા કરી
ડૉ. જીતેન્દ્રસિંહે જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીર તેમજ લદ્દાખના તમામ જિલ્લાઓના નાયબ આયુક્તો સાથે વાર્તાલાપ કર્યો હતો અને કોવિડ-19 સંબંધિત તેમની તાજેતરની સ્થાનિક સ્થિતિ, આ બંને કેન્દ્ર શાસિત પ્રદેશોમાં ફસાયેલા લોકોનું પુનરાગમન, શ્રમિક ટ્રેનો મારફતે આવી રહેલા મુસાફરો માટે વહીવટીતંત્ર દ્વારા કરવામાં આવેલી વ્યવસ્થા તેમજ બુધવારથી જમ્મુ સુધી નિયમિત ટ્રેન સેવાઓના ફરી પ્રારંભ અંગેની તમામ માહિતીની સમીક્ષા કરી હતી.

હરિયાણાએ ડિસેમ્બર 2022 સુધીમાં દરેક ગામડાના તમામ પરિવારો સુધી નળથી પાણી પહોંચાડવા માટે તૈયારીઓ કરી
રાજ્ય સરકારે જળજીવન મિશન અંતર્ગત 2019-20માં રાજ્યમાં 1.05 લાખ પરિવારોને નળના જોડાણ આપ્યા છે. હવે, રાજ્ય સરકાર ડિસેમ્બર 2022 સુધીમાં તમામ ગામડામાં દરેક પરિવારને નળના જોડાણ આપીને 100% કવરેજ પૂર્ણ કરવાની યોજનામાં છે. 2024-25 સુધીમાં દરેક ઘરને નળના જોડાણ આપવાના રાષ્ટ્રીય લક્ષ્ય પહેલાં જ સરકાર આ કાર્યપૂર્ણ કરવા માંગે છે. આમ કરવાથી, હરિયાણા દરેક ગ્રામ્ય પરિવારોને નળનું જોડાણ આપવાનું આ મહત્વાકાંક્ષી લક્ષ્ય પૂર્ણ કરનારા અગ્રણી રાજ્યોમાં સ્થાન પામશે. જાહેર આરોગ્ય એન્જિનિયરિંગ વિભાગનું ડેશબોર્ડ તાજેતરમાં જ મુખ્યમંત્રી દ્વારા શરૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ એક ડાયનેમિક પ્લેટફોર્મ છે, જ્યાં ગામડાઓ, નળના જોડાણો, આર્થિક પ્રગતિ વગેરેની વિગતો પર વાસ્તવિક સમયના ધોરણે દેખરેખ રાખી શકાય છે. કોવિડ-19 મહામારીના કારણે ઉભા થયેલ આ કસોટીના સમયમાં, ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારોમાં દરેક ઘરને નળનું જોડાણ આપવાના આવા પ્રયાસો ચોક્કસપણે ખાસ કરીને મહિલાઓ અને છોકરીઓનાં જીવનમાં ઘણી સરળતા લાવશે, તેમનું વૈતરું ઓછું કરશે અને તેમને વધુ સલામતી પૂરી પાડીને માનભેર જીવન આપશે.

 

જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીર ડિસેમ્બર 2022 સુધીમાં દરેક ઘરમાં નળથી પાણી પહોંચાડશે
ચાલુ વર્ષ દરમિયાન રાજ્ય ત્રણ જિલ્લા એટલે કે ગંધરબાલ, શ્રીનગર અને રાઇસીમાં દરેક ઘરમાં નળનું જોડાણ આપીને 100% કવરેજ પૂર્ણ કરવાનું લક્ષ્ય ધરાવે છે. પીવાલાયક પાણી અને સેનિટેશન વિભાગે ગઇકાલે JJM હેઠળ તમામ ઘર સુધી નળ દ્વારા પાણી પહોંચાડવાનું લક્ષ્ય હાંસલ કરવા માટે પ્રેઝન્ટેશન રજૂ કરતા કેન્દ્ર શાસિત પ્રદેશના અધિકારીઓએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, કેન્દ્ર શાસિત પ્રદેશમાં 18.17 લાખ પરિવારો છે જેમાંથી 5.75 લાખ પરિવારોને પહેલાંથી ફંકશનલ હાઉસહોલ્ડ ટેપ કનેક્શન (FHTC) આપવામાં આવ્યા છે. બાકી રહેલા પરિવારોમાંથી જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીરમાં 2020-21 સુધીમાં 1.76 લાખ પરિવારને નળ પૂરા પાડવાની યોજના છે.

રાષ્ટ્રીય ટેકનોલોજી દિવસ નિમિત્તે અર્થતંત્રને રીબૂટ કરવા અંગે ડિજિટલ કોન્ફરન્સ વિજ્ઞાન, ટેકનોલોજી અને રીસર્ચ ટ્રાન્સલેશન્સ (RESTART) દ્વારા એક દિવસીય ડિજિટલ કોન્ફરન્સનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું જેમાં કોવિડ-19 મહામારી પછી ઉત્પાદન કંપનીઓના પરિવર્તનના મહત્વ, જોડાણો પર અને આ વર્તમાન પડકારમાંથી બહાર આવવા માટે સંશોધનો ઉદ્યોગોને વધુ નજીક લાવી શકશે તે બાબતે પણ પ્રકાશ પાડવામાં આવ્યો હતો.

● કેરળ: વિદેશ રાજ્યમંત્રી વી. મુરલીધરને જણાવ્યું હતું કે, વંદે ભારત મિશન અંતર્ગત બીજા તબક્કામાં કેરળમાં 36 સેવાઓ ચાર્ટર્ડ કરવામાં આવી છે. મંત્રીશ્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, વિદેશમાં ફસાયેલા ભારતીયોને પરત લાવવા માટે એર ઇન્ડિયા સિવાય કોઇપણ ખાનગી એરલાઇન્સે સસ્તામાં અથવા વિનામૂલ્યે તેમને લાવવાના વચન સાથે સંપર્ક કર્યો નહોતો. અખાતી દેશોમાંથી બે ફ્લાઇટ આજે રાત્રે કોચી હવાઇમથકે પહોંચશે. રાજ્યએ નિર્ણય લીધો છે કે, કોવિડના નિયંત્રણના પગલાંના ખર્ચને પહોંચી વળવા માટે દારુ પર 10-35% વિશેષ સેસ તરીકે વધારાનો કરવેરો અમલમાં મુકવામાં આવશે. લૉકડાઉનનો ત્રીજો તબક્કો 17 મેના રોજ પૂરો થયા પછી રાજ્યમાં દારુનું વેચાણ ફરી શરૂ કરવામાં આવશે. યુકેમાં વધુ એક કેરળવાસીનું કોવિડ-19ના કારણે મૃત્યુ થયું હોવાના અહેવાલ છે.

● તામિલનાડુ: પુડુચેરીમાં ફેક્ટરીમાં કામ કરતા એક કામદારનો કોવિડ-19નો ટેસ્ટ પોઝિટીવ આવ્યો છે જેથી સક્રિય કેસોની સંખ્યા વધીને ચાર થઇ છે. ઉચ્ચ અદાલતે તામિલનાડુની સરકારને નિર્દેશ આપ્યા છે કે, બિન-તબીબી અગ્ર હરોળના કર્મચારીઓને PPEના પૂરવઠા અંગેની સ્થિતિનો અહેવાલ આપો. ઔદ્યોગિક સંગઠનોએ પ્રતિબંધિત હિલચાલના કારણે કામકાજમાં અવરોધો આવતા હોવાની ફરિયાદ સાથે, રાજ્યમાં શ્રમ કાયદામાં સુધારો કરવાની માંગણી કરી છે. 1,100થી વધુ મુસાફરો સાથે તામિલનાડુ આવી રહેલી વિશેષ ટ્રેનના તમામ મુસાફરોને RT-PCR પરીક્ષણ માટે મોકલવામાં આવશે. ચેન્નઇ ઉપરાંત, ચેંગાલપટ્ટુ અને તિરુવલ્લુરમાં કેસોની સંખ્યામાં વધારો થયો છે અને કોયામ્બેદુ ક્લસ્ટરમાં કેસો વધી રહ્યા છે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં કુલ કેસની સંખ્યા- 8718, સક્રિય કેસ- 6520, મૃત્યુ- 61, સાજા થયા- 2134, સૌથી વધુ સક્રિય કેસ ચેન્નઇમાં – 4482.

● કર્ણાટક: આજે બપોરે 12 વાગ્યા સુધીમાં નવા 26 કેસ પોઝિટીવ નોંધાયા છે: બિદરમાં 11, હસ્સનમાં 4, ઉત્તર કન્નડા, કાલબુર્ગી, વિજયપુરા અને દેવનાગેરેમાં બે-બે, બેંગલોર, દક્ષિણ કન્નડા, બેલ્લામાં એક-એક. આજે કાલબુર્ગીમાં એક વ્યક્તિનું મોત નીપજ્યું છે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં કુલ 951 કેસ પોઝિટીવ નોંધાયા છે જ્યારે 32 વ્યક્તિનાં મોત નીપજ્યાં છે અને 442 દર્દીને રજા આપવામાં આવી છે. રાજ્યમાં બિન સંગઠિત ક્ષેત્રો માટે બીજુ કોવિડ રાહત પેકેજ આપવાની યોજના ચાલી રહી છે.

● આંધ્રપ્રદેશ: રાજ્ય કેટલીક છુટછાટો સાથે 18 મેથી જાહેર પરિવહન બસ સેવા ફરી શરૂ કરશે. રાજ્યમાં અત્યાર સુધીમાં કોવિડ-19ના 2.1 લાખ નમૂનાનું પરીક્ષણ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. ટુંક સમયમાં વધુ બે પરીક્ષણ લેબોરેટરી વિઝાંગારમ અને પશ્ચિમ ગોદાવરી જિલ્લામાં ખાનગી કોલેજમાં શરૂ કરવામાં આવશે. રાજ્યમાં છેલ્લા 24 કલાકમાં 48 નવા કેસ નોંધાયા છે (8 કેસ વિસ્થાપિત શ્રમિકોના છે); 86 દર્દીને સાજા થતા રજા આપવામાં આવી છે અને 1નું મૃત્યુ થયું છે. રાજ્યમાં અત્યાર સુધીમાં કુલ પોઝિટીવ કેસ- 2137 નોંધાયા છે. સક્રિય કેસ- 948, સાજા થયા- 1142, મૃત્યુ- 47. સૌથી વધુ પોઝિટીવ કેસ ધરાવતા જિલ્લા: કુર્નૂલ (591), ગુંતૂર (399), ક્રિશ્ના (349), ચિત્તૂર (142), અનંતપુર (118), નેલ્લોર (111) છે.

● તેલંગાણા: રાજ્ય સરકારે ઑનલાઇન “આઉટ પેશન્ટ ડિપાર્ટમેન્ટ” (OPD) સેવા “ઇ-સંજીવની” શરૂ કરી છે. આ સેવા અગાઉ પ્રાયોગિક ધોરણે મર્યાદિત રીતે શરૂ કરવામાં આવી હતી અને હવે સંપૂર્ણ કાર્યરત કરવામાં આવી છે. રાજ્યમાં ગઇકાલ સાંજ સુધીમાં કુલ પોઝિટીવ કેસની સંખ્યા 1326 નોંધાઇ છે. સાજા થયેલા દર્દીની સંખ્યા 822, સક્રિય કેસોની સંખ્યા 472 છે જ્યારે કુલ 32 દર્દીઓ મૃત્યુ પામ્યા છે.

● અરુણાચલ પ્રદેશ: રાજ્યમાં નહારલગુન ખાતે બીજુ કોવિડ-19 પરીક્ષણ કેન્દ્ર શરૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. અહીં TRUENAT મીશન દ્વારા પરીક્ષણો કરવામાં આવશે જે એક દિવસમાં 20 સેમ્પલનું સ્ક્રિનિંગ કરવા માટે સક્ષમ છે.

● આસામ: MMGHમાં આજે એક કોવિડ-19 દર્દીનો રીપોર્ટ નેગેટિવ આવ્યા પછી તેને રજા આપવામાં આવી છે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં કુલ સાજા થયેલા દર્દીઓની સંખ્યા 39 થઇ હોવાનું આસામના આરોગ્ય મંત્રીએ ટ્વીટ કરીને જણાવ્યું હતું. દિલ્હીથી આવેલા 163 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને ચેન્નઇના 24 કેન્સરના દર્દીઓ આજે ગુવાહાટી પહોંચ્યા હતા. તેમને 14 દિવસ સુધી ક્વૉરેન્ટાઇનની પ્રક્રિયામાં રાખવામાં આવશે.

● મણીપૂર: 1141 ફસાયેલા મણીપૂરી લોકો ચેન્નઇ સ્ટેશનથી વિશેષ ટ્રેન દ્વારા આજે જીરીબામ રેલવે સ્ટેશને પહોંચ્યા હતા. તેમને નિર્ધારિત સંસ્થાકીય અને સામુદાયિક કેન્દ્રોમાં ફરજિયાત 14 દિવસ ક્વૉરેન્ટાઇનમાં રાખવામાં આવશે. ક્વૉરેન્ટાઇન કેન્દ્રોમાં માત્ર અધિકારીઓ અને ત્યાં રાખવામાં આવેલા અન્ય લોકોને જ પ્રવેશ આપવામાં આવે છે.

● મિઝોરમ: રાજ્યએ કોવિડ-19 મહામારીના કારણે બહાર ફસાઇ ગયેલા મિઝોરમના કાયમી રહેવાસીઓને પરત કરવા માટે SOP બહાર પાડ્યા છે.

● નાગાલેન્ડ: રાજ્ય સરકાર બહાર ફસાયેલા નાગાલેન્ડના નાગરિકોને ટ્રેનમાં પરત આવવા માટેનો ખર્ચ ભોગવશે. કોવિડ-19 માટેની સશક્ત સમિતિએ વિગતવાર યોજના તૈયાર કરી.

● મેઘાલય: કોહીમા જિલ્લા વહીવટીતંત્રએ 4221 ફસાયેલા સ્થાનિક નાગરિકોને તેમના હોમ ડિસ્ટ્રિક્ટમાં પાછા મોકલવાની સુવિધા કરી. કિફેરે જિલ્લાના 332 રહેવાસીઓ તેમના ઘરે પહોંચ્યા.

● સિક્કીમ: ગ્રામીણ વિકાસ વિભાગે મનરેગા, PMAY અને PMGSY અંતર્ગત સમગ્ર રાજ્યમાં કામકાજ ફરી શરૂ કર્યું છે જેનાથી ગ્રામીણ શ્રમિકો માટે રોજગારીનું સર્જન થશે અને લૉકડાઉનના સમયગાળામાં તેમને થોડી રાહત મળશે.

● ત્રિપૂરા: પૂણેમાં ફસાયેલા ત્રિપૂરાના રહેવાસીઓને લઇને બીજી બસ અગરતલા જવા માટે રવાના થઇ છે.

● મહારાષ્ટ્ર: કોવિડ-19ના નવા 1026 મહારાષ્ટ્ર રાજ્યમાં નોંધાયા છે જ્યારે 339 દર્દી સાજા થયા છે અને 53ના મરણ નીપજ્યાં છે. અત્યારે રાજ્યમાં કોવિડ-19ના કુલ પોઝિટીવ કેસની સંખ્યા 24,427 થઇ છે. દરમિયાન, મહારાષ્ટ્ર સરકારે રાજ્યમાં કાયદાના અમલીકરણની કામગીરીમાં થાકી ગયેલી રાજ્યની પોલીસની મદદ માટે કેન્દ્ર પાસેથી કેન્દ્રીય સશસ્ત્ર પોલીસદળોની 20 કંપનીની માંગણી કરી છે. મુખ્યમંત્રી ઉદ્ધવ ઠાકરેએ સોમવારે પ્રધાનમંત્રી સાથે વીડિયો કોન્ફરન્સ દ્વારા વાર્તાલાપ વખતે આ બાબતે ઉલ્લેખ કર્યો હતો.

● ગુજરાત: આરોગ્ય વિભાગના જણાવ્યા અનુસાર ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાં નવા 362 કેસ પોઝિટીવ નોંધાતા કોરોનાના કુલ કોની સંખ્યા વધીને 8903 થઇ ગઇ છે. આ ઉપરાંત ગઇકાલે વધુ 24 દર્દીના મૃત્યુ થયાં છે. ઔદ્યોગિક પ્રવૃત્તિઓને રાજ્યમાં 135થી વધુ મ્યુનિસિપલ વિસ્તારોમાં ફરી શરૂ કરવાની મંજૂરી આપવામાં આવી છે જેમાં અંદાજે 8 લાખ કર્મચારીઓ કામ કરે છે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં અંદાજે 3 લાખ કામદારો ગુજરાત છોડીને તેમના વતન રાજ્યમાં પાછા ફર્યા છે.

● રાજસ્થાન: રાજસ્થાનમાં કોવિડ-19ના દર્દીઓની સંખ્યા 4000નો આંકડો પાર કરી ગઇ છે. રાજસ્થાનના આરોગ્ય વિભા દ્વારા આપવામાં આવેલા અપડેટ્સ અનુસાર, આજે બપોરે 2 વાગ્યા સુધીમાં રાજ્યમાં કોવિડ-19ના કુલ 4173 કે થયા છે જેમાં આજે 152 નવા કેસ નોંધાયા છે. 49 કેસ માત્ર જયપુરમાં જ નોંધાયા છે જ્યારે 22 કેસ ઉદયપુરમાં, 28 કેસ જાલોરમાં અને 24 કેસ પાલીમાં નોંધાયા છે. રાજસ્થાનના મુખ્યમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, રાજ્યમાં ગામડાઓને કોવિડ-19ના ચેપથી બચાવવા માટે ક્વૉરેન્ટાઇન સુવિધા તેમની સૌથી પહેલી પ્રાથમિકતા રહેશે અને રાજ્યમાં દરરોજ 25 હજાર નમૂનાનું પરીક્ષણ કરવામાં આવશે.

● મધ્યપ્રદેશ: મધ્યપ્રદેશમાં કોવિડ-19ના નવા 201 પોઝિટીવ કેસ નોંધાતા રાજ્યમાં કુલ કેસની સંખ્યા વધીને 3986 થઇ ગઇ છે. આ અપડેટ અનુસાર, 81 કેસ ઇન્દોરમાં, 30 કેસ ભોપાલમાં, 27 કેસ ઉજ્જૈનમાં અને 20 કેસ ખંડવામાં નોંધાયા છે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં 864 દર્દીઓમાંથી 535 દર્દીઓ સાજા થતા તેમને રજા આપવામાં આવી છે. રાજ્ય સરકાર દ્વારા ઑનલાઇન આરોગ્ય ચેકઅપ માટે ઇ-સંજીવની પોર્ટલની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી છે. ઇ-સંજીવની એક ઇન્ટિગ્રેટેડ ટેલિમેડિસિન પ્રોજેક્ટ છે જે ભારત સરકારના આરોગ્ય અને પરિવાર કલ્યાણ મંત્રાલય અંતર્ગત શરૂ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે અને રાજ્ય સરકારો દ્વારા તેનો અમલ કરવામાં આવે છે.[:en]Finance Minister announce measures for relief and credit support related to businesses, especially MSMEs to support Indian Economy’s fight against COVID-19

Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. NiramlaSitharaman today announced measures focused on Getting back to work i.e., enabling employees and employers, businesses, especially Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, to get back to production and workers back to gainful employment. Efforts to strengthen Non-Banking Finance Institutions (NBFCs), Housing Finance Companies (HFCs), Micro Finance Sector and Power Sector were also unfolded. Other than this, the tax relief to business, relief from contractual commitments to contractors in public procurement and compliance relief to real estate sector were also covered.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan engages with Punjab to review preparedness and containment measures taken for COVID-19 management

Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare held a meeting, through video conference, with Health Minister of Punjab. Dr Harsh Vardhan stated that as on 13th May 2020, a total of 74,281 cases have been reported from the country in which 24,386 persons have been cured and 2,415 deaths had occurred. In the last 24 hours, 3,525 new confirmed cases have been added. While the doubling time in the past 14 days was 11, it has improved to 12.6 in the last three days. He added that the fatality rate is 3.2% and the recovery rate is pegged at 32.8%. He also added that (as of yesterday) there are 2.75% active COVID-19 patients in ICU, 0.37% on ventilators and 1.89% on oxygen support. Cumulatively, 18,56,477 tests have been done so far for COVID-19, whereas, 94708 samples were tested yesterday. Dr Harsh Vardhan said that Punjab has done well in operationalising the Ayushman Bharat – Health and Wellness Centers. These could be further used for screening of people with diabetes, hypertension and three common cancers (oral, breast and cervix), and for extension of comprehensive primary healthcare services to the community at large.

From 1st June 2020, only Indigenous Products will be sold at the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) canteens and stores across the country

Ministry of Home Affairs has decided that all the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) canteens and stores across the country will now sell only indigenous products, from June 01, 2020. The total purchase value would be around Rs. 2800 crore. With this decision, 50 lakh family members of about 10 lakh CAPF personnel will use indigenous products.The Home Minister also appealed to the people of the country, “You should use the products made in the country as much as possible and encourage others to do the same. This is not the time to be lagging behind, but to turn the crisis into an opportunity.”

8503 Indians return from abroad in 43 flights under Vande Bharat Mission since 7th May 2020

8503 Indians have been flown back to India in 43 inbound flights operated by Air India and Air India Express under Vande Bharat Mission in 6 days beginning from 7th May 2020.Government of India started Vande Bharat Mission – one of the largest initiatives to repatriate nationals back to India, on 7th May 2020. Air India along with its subsidiary Air India Express are operating a total of 64 flights (42 by Air India & 24 by AI Express) to 12 countries viz. USA, UK Bangladesh, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Philippines, UAE and Malaysia to repatriate 14,800 Indians back in the first phase.

Indian Railways operate 642 “Shramik Special” trains till 13th May, 2020 across the country

As on 13th May 2020, a total of 642 “Shramik Special” trains have been operationalized from various states across the country.These 642 trains were terminated in various states like Andhra Pradesh (3 Trains), Bihar (169 Trains), Chattisgarh (6 Trains), Himachal Pradesh (1 Train), Jammu & Kashmir (3 Trains), Jharkhand (40 Trains), Karnataka (1 Train), Madhya Pradesh (53 Trains), Maharashtra (3 Trains), Manipur (1 Train), Mizoram (1 Train), Odisha (38 Trains), Rajasthan(8 Trains), Tamil Nadu (1 Train), Telangana(1 Train), Tripura (1 Train), Uttar Pradesh (301 Trains), Uttarakhand (4 Trains), West Bengal(7 Trains).

FCI distributes about 160 LMT foodgrains to States/UTs during lockdown

FCI is having sufficient stocks to cater to the requirement of the nation. As on 1st May, 2020, the stock position was 642.7 Lakh MT, out of which rice was 285.03 Lakh MT and wheat was 357.7 Lakh MT. Till 12.05.2020, 159.36 Lakh MT foodgrains have been issued under various schemes. State Governments have lifted 60.87 Lakh MT foodgrains under NFSA, which is equivalent to almost one and half month’s requirement. Further, 79.74 Lakh MT has been lifted for distribution under PMGKAY against total allocation of 120 Lakh MT, which is equal to two month allocation.

Haryana gears up to provide tap connections to all rural households by December, 2022

The State provided 1.05 lakh tap connections during 2019-20 under the JalJeevan Mission. Now the State Government is planning 100% coverage by December, 2022, ahead of the national goal by 2024-25. By doing so, Haryana will be among the leading states to accomplish the ambitious target of providing tap connection to each rural household. Dashboard of Public Health Engineering Department has been recently launched by Chief Minister. J&K to provide tap water to every household by December 2022

During the current year, State is planning for 100% coverage of all 5,000 villages of 3 districts i.e. Gandharbal, Srinagar and Raisi.Presenting their action plan to the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation yesterday for achieving the goal of every household with tap water supply under the JJM, UT officials said there are 18.17 lakh households in the UT, out of which 5.75 lakhs are already provided with Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs). Out of the remaining households, J&K plans to provide 1.76 lakh households by 2020-21.

Tamil Nadu:  Factory worker tests positive for Covid-19 in Puducherry as active cases rise to four. High Court directs TN government to file a status report on PPE supply to non-medical frontline workers. Industry bodies seek amendments to labour laws in the State complaining of obstacles to operating under a restricted environment. Over 1,100 passengers arriving on special trains in TN to undergo RT-PCR tests. Besides Chennai, cases surge in Chengalpattu &Tiruvallur with the emergence of Koyambedu cluster. Total cases till now: 8718, Active cases: 6520, Deaths: 61, Discharged: 2134. Active cases in Chennai are 4882.

Karnataka: 26 new cases reported till 12pm today: Bidar 11, Hassan 4, two each in  Uttara Kannada, Kalburgi, Vijayapura&Davangere and one each in Bangalore, Dakshin Kannada, Bellari. Today one person died in Kalburgi. Total cases till now 951. So far 32 people died, and 442 people discharged. State planning to announce second covid relief package for unorganized sector.

Andhra Pradesh: State to begin public transport bus services from May 18 amid exemptions. State conducts 2.1 lakh Covid-19 tests so far. Two more testing labs to be set up in private colleges in Vizianagaram and West Godavari districts soon. 48 fresh cases (8 cases of migrants) reported; 86 discharged and one death reported in the last 24 hours.  Total cases rise to 2137. Active cases: 948, Recovered: 1142, Deaths: 47. Districts leading in +ve cases: Kurnool (591), Guntur (399), Krishna (349), Chittoor (142), Anantapur (118), Nellore (111).

Telangana: State government launches an online “outpatient department” (OPD) service, e-Sanjivani. The service was earlier started in a limited way on an experimental basis, and has now been made fully operational. Total number of positive cases till yesterday evening 1326, Discharged 822, Active cases 472, Deaths 32.

Arunachal Pradesh: State gets its 2nd COVID19 testing centre at Naharlagun. Test will be carried out by TRUENAT machines, capable of screening 20 samples per day.

Assam: One COVID19 patient after testing negative successively has been discharged from MMGH today. Total recovered patients now stands at 39, Assam Health Minister tweeted.163 students from Delhi and 24 cancer patients from Chennai have reached Guwahati today. They will be put into mandatory 14 day quarantine process.

Manipur: 1141 stranded Manipuris reached Jiribam Railway station from Chennai by a special train today. They will be kept into compulsory 14 days quarantine at designated institutional & community centres. Only officials and inmates allowed to enter quarantine centres.

Mizoram: State issues SOPs for return of permanent residents of the state stranded outside due to COVID19 outbreak.

Nagaland: StateGovt to bear expenses for return of stranded people by trains. Empowered Committee on COVID19 formulated a detailed plan.

Meghalaya:Kohima District Administration has facilitated relocation of 4221 stranded local citizens to home districts. 332 residents of Kiphere district reach home.

Sikkim: Department of Rural Development has resumed works under MGNREGA, PMAY and PMGSY across the State which creates job opportunities for rural labour and some relief during lockdown period.

Tripura:The second bus carrying residents of Tripura who were stranded in Pune, has started for Agartala.

Maharashtra: 1026 new cases of COVID- 19, along with 339 recoveries and 53 deaths have been reported in Maharashtra. This takes the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state to 24,427.  Meanwhile, Maharashtra Government has asked for 20 companies of the Central Armed Police Forces from the Centre, as reinforcement for the fatigued state police forces.  CM UddhavThackerey had mentioned about this during his video link meeting with the Prime Minister on Monday.

Gujarat: The total number of Covid-19 cases at Gujarat stand at 8903, with 362 new cases reported as per the latest update from the Health Department. Also, 24 deaths were reported yesterday. Industrial activities have been resumed in more than 135 municipal areas of the state employing nearly 8 lakh workers.  Nearly, 3 lakh migrant workers have left Gujarat for their home states.

Rajasthan:  The number of Covid-19 patients has crossed 4000 in Rajasthan. As per updates by the Health Department of Rajasthan at 2 p.m. today, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state stand at 4173, with 152 new cases reported today.  49 new cases have been reported at Jaipur, 22 from Udaipur,  28 from Jalore and 24 from Pali. Rajasthan CM has said that quarantine will be the state’s top agenda to save the villages from Covid-19 infection and 25 thousand tests will be done every day in the state.

Madhya Pradesh: 201 new positive cases have been reported in Madhya Pradesh taking the state tally to 3986. As per this update, 81 cases have been reported from Indore, 30 from Bhopal, 27 from Ujjain and 20 from Khandwa. 535 out of 864 patients have been discharged after recovery till now. E-Sanjeevani  portal for online health check-ups has been started by the State Government. eSanjeevani is an integrated telemedicine project piloted by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and implemented by the state governments.[:]
