Gandhinagar, 29 November 2020
The Government of Gujarat, after the approval of the Government of India, has started preparing a master plan for distribution of Corona vaccine to the people. A committee of secretaries of Health, Labor and Employment, Urban Development, Finance and other departments has been formed to work across the state on vaccine delivery methods. Vaccination will be given as per voter list. The problem, however, will be how to vaccinate children and citizens who are not registered to vote.
1 lakh Kovid stations
1 lakh Kovid stations will be made in place of polling stations and schools. Kovid vaccine will be given after vaccination with indestructible ink. So that no one takes it a second time. The indelible ink is manufactured by the Mysore Paints and Varnish Limited Company of the Government of Karnataka, a specialized ink formula developed by the National Physical Laboratory. Which does not dad last for 7 to 15 days of ink. 23% of the substance is silver nitrate. They have to prepare a total of 1 lakh small vials of 5.5 ml and 7.5 ml for polling stations. 350 people can be targeted with a bottle. The ink cost will be Rs 2 crore. 6.50 crore people of Gujarat will visit polling stations.
corruption in vaccination
However, it is a question whether the committee will take care to ensure that homeopathic carcinogenic drug is seized by the leaders and officials of Gandhinagar. Similarly, there are 1 crore members of the ruling party, one has to be careful to get vaccinated there. Because there is a full potential for widespread corruption in vaccination. So every stock has to be looked after.
Use of election booth system
A source in the secretariat said that the committee headed by the chief secretary recently held a meeting for the first time. Will meet once a week. For ordinary citizens, it has been decided to use the existing election booth system. Where all the details of voters like age, address and other details are available. Special booths will be created to vaccinate people on the basis of voter list.
Ink on nails
Ink will also be applied on the nails to identify the vaccine that has been vaccinated. The Collector has been asked to prepare a list of qualified government officials for the implementation of the vaccination program.
Who first
The vaccine will be given first to health workers, government officials, the elderly, and then to the general public. The central government has already announced to do so.
