[:en]Gujarat appoints committee to investigate charges against Gaurav Dahiya IAS [:]

[:en]Gandhinagar, Gujarat government has decided to appoint a five-member committee, including three IAS officers, for in-depth investigation into the charges of fraud, betrayal and intimidation levelled against Gujarat’s IAS officer Gauarv Dahiya regarding his marriage. 

The committee is headed by Principal Secretary Sunaina Tomar, other members being Ms. Mamata Verma IAS and Sonal Mishra IAS Ms. Deviben Pandya as non-government member. Its member-secretary will be of the rank of Deputy-Joint or Additional Secretary.

The committee has been asked to submit its report fast.

It may be mentioned here that following complaint against Gaurav Dahiya, who has been working as Director of National Rural Health Mission, he has been transferred with immediate effect on July 22 and posted as Joint Secretary (Planning) with the General Administration Department.
