As COVID-19 cases rise sharply in Jungleshwar area in Rajkot, CM holds urgent video conference with district authorities
CM guides authorities to impose curfew from Friday midnight
Ahmedabad: To take stock of the situation emerging out due to sharp rise in transmission of pandemic ‘COVID-19’ in Jungleshwar area of Rajkot city, Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani had urgently held an important video conference with Rajkot Collector, Municipal Commissioner, Police Commissioner, and In-charge Mr. Rahul Gupta, today.
While holding video conference from his residence in Gandhinagar, the Chief Minister had instructed the Rajkot district administration to take further comprehensive measures to curb the transmission of the Coronavirus and stringent implementation of the lockdown orders.
During the video conference, others who joined the Chief Minister from his office were included Chief Secretary Mr. Anil Mukim, DGP Shivanand Jha, and Sangeeta Singh, Additional Chief Secretary (Home Department).
For the stringent implementation of the lockdown, the Chief Minister had instructed the authorities to announce imposition of curfew in Jungleshwar area from Friday midnight.
