Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a video conference with the state chief ministers from New Delhi.
In this video conference, Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani elaborated on the series of measures taken by Gujarat, including health measures and strict adherence to lockdown to curb the growing contagion of corona.
The decision to declare a lockdown and extend it for another 15 days has proved to be very helpful in controlling the epidemic.
The way in which the central government is supporting the state government on all fronts today to fight the Corona is truly the best example of cooperative-federalism.
The state is getting all the help from the central government for disease identification, diagnosis, medicines and equipment to help prevent the spread.
