Most students are not interested in online studying: report

In the midst of the Corona transition, only 20 per cent of students are showing interest in online education, according to last month’s statistics on online education released by various government departments. Online education has been launched in the state from July 20. The government has not yet clarified whether colleges will be started in Unlock-3 as well.

According to university professors, an estimated four to five lakh students study in colleges affiliated to all the other universities, excluding the state’s technical universities. According to the last month’s statistics of students taking online education in this position 82,197 students have shown interest in studying in online classes. Calculated in this way, it appears that only 20 per cent of the students have shown interest in online education.
