Abhay Bhardwaj is the candidate chosen by the Chief Minister Vijay Rupani rather than the BJP candidate. In Gujarat, Amit Shah and Rupani are making all BJP decisions. It has been proven time and again. Rumors have been circulating that Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has failed to keep up with the people. So they will be replaced. Even though he is a weak chief minister, he is on the brink of change but he is getting stronger.
Abhay Bhardwaj of Rajkot himself is a man of Vijay Rupani. So successful in getting them a ticket. BJP sources say that Bhardwaj has given him a ticket as a Brahmin. If only one ticket was to be given to a Brahmin, many Brahmin leaders were more than capable. Kamlesh Josipura of Rajkot was Kabel. Why not give tickets to Jayanarayan Vyas, Mahendra Trivedi and Harin Pathak Brahmin as the most capable leader in BJP?
