Arshibhai Hamirbhai Ram, a farmer from Vavadi village in Sutrapada taluka of Gir Somnath district, near Somnath temple in Gujarat, has set out on a 1400 km cycle journey from Somnath to Delhi. He will open the eyes of the government to get justice for the injustice done to them. Ram’s journey is till Delhi. Lord Rama’s journey was to end Ravana Raj in Lanka.
I have been fighting for 18 years
“I have been fighting for my demands since 2002,” said Arshibhai Ram. My land has been taken away. I have represented Mamlatdar, Collector including Gandhinagar for 18 years but I have not got justice yet. I have started cycling in the hope that Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will give me the justice I need. But justice was not found. So I am going to Delhi
He cycled from Vavadi village to Gandhinagar secretariat some time ago and then was convinced, but his questions have not been resolved yet. The people of the village have appealed to please help Arshibhai Hamirbhai Ram as the farmer son. His mobile phone number is 9904900754.
The 65-year-old had taken a 448-km cycle journey up to Gandhinagar to present it to the Chief Minister in anticipation of justice in the land fraud case.
