What is the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad like?
The Covid Dedicated 1200-bed hospital has 160 ventilators, 96 dialysis machines, a centralized system supplying oxygen. All steps are being taken as per standard operating procedure. The hospital has been working for 40 days.

The Civil Hospital itself has been converted into a Covid Dedicated Hospital. Its capacity is 500 beds. Thus the total capacity of the Civil Hospital is 1700 beds. About 300 of them will be used for critical care (ICU).

In the morning yoga-pranayama, herbal tea boiling, tea biscuits, hot milk, regular meals-snacks, television, all kinds of needs are taken care of.

At Civil Hospital, 36 senior doctors, who are critical experts in the private sector, have been deputed from other hospitals. These include specialist doctors such as anesthesiologists and pulmonologists. There are 136 resident physicians.
90 medical officers work in three shifts. A total of 366 nursing staff, 628 paramedical and 450 Class-4 employees are employed in 122 M in one shift.
Outside expert teams have also been attached to the Civil Hospital team. The doctors of the private hospital, Dr. Tushar Patel, Dr. Jay Kothari, Dr. Jigar Mehta, Dr. Farooq, Dr. Gopal and Dr. Varun Patel works.
Skilled and trained staff will be made available to serve patients who are still in need by tying-up with other agencies with the skill of patient attendance.

Dr. Raghav Dixit wears a kit every day and talks to the patient. Colonel Sanjay Kumar is handling the NABH accreditation with the Department of Health and Family Welfare.
