A vindictive state brazenly attacks dissent in India

In this special edition of our newsletter, we bring to you all the information you need on the recent arrests of our fellow activists across the country. We stand in solidarity with all those targeted, and strongly condemn the actions of the state in targeting citizens who have devoted their entire lives to upholding and defending the Constitutional rights of all Indians.

LATEST: In what comes as a welcome development, the Supreme Court has ordered that none of the activists be taken into custody, and should remain on house arrest until the matter is heard on September 6. As a result, anyone that has been taken to Pune will be returned to their homes.
