Firozabad police of Uttar Pradesh arrested two shooters from Azamgarh on Saturday. Both the shooters were apprehended by a Special Operations Group team from Sirsaganj from where a hatchback and two indigenous pistols were also seized. Both had ordered the execution of the nephew of the BJP national general secretary. Currently in Gorakhpur jail, Devendra Yadav hired shooters Ashish Yadav and Sandeep Yadav to kill the nephew of the politician for Rs 5 lakh.
The victim, who runs a glass factory, was helping the family of Kuldeep, who was a factory clerk, fighting a case against Devendra’s younger brother Shiva. Who shot and killed a clerk in 2014 and looted Rs 40,000 from it.
He is a shooter with a criminal record, as he leaves no mark for the police. One of the arrested shooters is a student of Etawah Polytechnic. He was initially paid Rs 50,000, but was promised Rs five lakh. In August 2019, a man named Anoop Kumar was shot by Devendra Yadav, who hired these shooters. A reward of Rs 50,000 was later announced for him. He was arrested by STF Gorakhpur in February 2020.
