Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has arranged 1475 beds for Corona patients in 74 private hospitals in Khangi. Where referred patients are treated free of charge by the corporation. At present, a total of 3035 patients are being treated under the private quota of municipal and private hospitals. Which shows, Corona cases have increased in the city.
Corona is spreading rapidly due to cold weather, pollution and violation of rules, as well as not keeping social distance and wearing masks. The number of positive patients is increasing. Crowds gathered in the markets on the occasion of Diwali. In the coming days, there will be a surge in cases.
Private hospitals with no reserve have 2107 beds of their own, in which patients are treated at their own expense. This charge ranges from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 7 lakh. It is estimated that a fee of Rs 100 crore is charged in 8 to 10 days. It is estimated that other costs are incurred. Thus a total of 3852 beds of private hospitals are available for Corona patients.
335 beds of municipal quota are empty, 482 beds of quota of private hospitals are empty. Corona patients are being treated in 1410 beds out of 1475 beds in municipal quota in private hospitals. Corona patients are on 1625 beds out of 2107 beds in the hospital quota.
