Ban on broadcast of Indian news channels in Nepal, broadcast will start again

Tensions in relations between India and Nepal remain intact. However, restrictions on Indian channels in Nepal have begun to be lifted. Sudeep Acharya, managing director of Dish Home in Nepal, said on Sunday that he has started reviving all Indian news channels. It also includes Zee News, Aaj Tak, India TV and ABP News.

Significantly, Indian news channels were banned in Nepal on July 9. The Nepali distributors behind this had accused these news channels of unbridled propaganda about Nepal. However, the telecast of Doordarshan continues uninterrupted here. Let us know that since the passage of the disputed map by Nepal last month, tension has increased in both countries.
