Google’s business in Gujarat at Rs. 500 crores, profit of Rs. 50 crores, people enjoy internet

US tech giant Google’s total income in India increased by 34.8 percent to Rs 5,593.8 crore in 2020. The market estimates that it earned Rs 500 crore and made a profit of Rs 50 crore from the people of Gujarat. The company had a total revenue of Rs 4,147 crore in FY19.
Google India made a profit of Rs 586.2 crore in FY20. In the same period of the previous year, Rs. 23.9% is more than 472.8 crores. In the financial year ended March 31, 2020, the company’s revenue from operations was Rs. 5384.7 crores Rs. Revenue for the same period a year ago was Rs 3,992.8 crore.

Google India spent 30.6% in FY10. The total expenditure during this period was Rs. 4,455.5 crores. The total expenditure of the company in FY 2019 was Rs 3,416.5 crore. A Google India spokesperson said that Google’s pre-tax profit for the FY 2019-20 was Rs 1,138.3 crore. It also includes a corporate tax of Rs 302 crore. During this period, the company has invested around Rs 400 crore on Indian operations.

Google India provides IT and IT based services to the Internet industry. In addition, Google also acts as a third-party reseller in advertising space through the AdWords program. According to the filing, advertising accounted for 27% of India’s total revenue. IT based services accounted for 32% and IT services 41%.
