Gandhinagar, 9 April 2021
To expand the airline’s network, Modi launched a large-scale ‘Udaan Yojana’. 4 out of 19 flights started in Gujarat in 1 year have been discontinued. The discussion of Modi and Rupani’s air has taken a major hit. For the last 20 years since 2001, Modi and Rupani have announced six times a year to start flights to cities and tourist destinations across Gujarat. It is time to start service at a loss of crores.
Modi bought a grand aircraft worth Rs 9,000 crore, Rupani bought an aircraft worth Rs 200 crore, but the two leaders completely failed to launch air services for the people. They make hollow promises to the public to win elections. Despite opening 3 times to fly a sea plane from Sabarmati, no one is willing to sit in it.
4 flight services in Gujarat have been canceled due to ineffectiveness under the Udaan scheme.
As on 31 December 2020, a total of 19 flight services were operational in Gujarat under the Udaan scheme. 4 Discontinue flight service as the company operating it cannot afford it.
Flight services from Ahmedabad to Jamnagar, Diu, Mundra and Bhavnagar were suspended. This flight service was forced to shut down because the company that operated them did not have it. From Ahmedabad to Porbandar, Nashik, Jalgaon, Udaipur, Kishangarh, Belgaum, Kandla, Jaisalmer, Porbandar and Kandla, Mumbai, Belgaum and Kishangarh to Surat as well as Kevadia and Sabarmati riverfront to the Statue of Unity.
There is a flight from Surat to the Statue of Unity. A helicopter was launched here on a trial basis, with a total of 2,286 tourists flying.
