While politics is heating up in Rajasthan, the government of CM Ashok Gehlot has decided to make a fresh start. On the day of Rajiv Gandhi Jayanti on August 20, a special scheme will be launched in the name of Indira Rasoi. Its responsibility has been given to a special department. It will serve hot meals through permanent cooking with the help of local NGOs.
Rs 100 crore will be spent annually for Indira’s cooking. The CM has directed that the scheme be launched from August 20. Indira Rasoi Yojana will be launched in all 213 cities of the state simultaneously. The scheme will start on August 20. The District Collector will be responsible for the location of the kitchen, selection of NGO, establishment of the kitchen, management. He has also been made the nodal officer.
The Collector will manage the culinary management of the district. This order has been issued by the government to all the district collectors. A total of 358 permanent kitchens will be set up in 213 cities of Rajasthan. The menu of the government’s Indira Gandhi cooking scheme will change daily. It will serve 100 grams of lentils, 100 grams of vegetables, 250 grams of bread and pickles in each dish as per the instructions of the government.
