Gandhinagar, 11 November 2020
After the white revolution of milk, Anand has paved a new path for the orange revolution of solar electricity. Solar farmers have gained recognition in the world by establishing a solar power producer cooperative mandali in Dhundi village with a population of 1500 in Thasara taluka of Kheda district. Earn 30 lakhs in 4 years.
A total of 2.70 lakh e-units have been produced. A total income of Rs 40 lakh has been earned in 5 years of solar energy. The world’s first solar producing cooperative circle has been formed here. After 5 years, the NGO has released a report after studying these farmers. Which can give a new direction to the farmers of Gujarat.
Earning 90 million
In 5 years, 9 farmers have saved an expenditure of Rs. 1 crore. Has earned Rs. 40 lakhs visually. The same NGO provided financial assistance of Rs 46 lakh for Surya Energy. 9 farmers had invested Rs 7 lakh. 50 lakh has been spent in front of Rs. 1 crore. Have earned Rs. 90 lakhs in 5 years after spending. 9 farmers too.
Remove tax on solar panel
If the government removes all taxes on solar panels and equipment, 10 lakh solar pumps can be in Gujarat without subsidy. Orang can bring revolution after white revolution in Gujarat. Subsides may get furious but if the tax is waived on solar panel, instrument, pump, farmer revolution can happen. Farmers believe so. But Vijay Rupani’s BJP government will not do this. No government of the country will do this.
Diesel pump bond
Earlier, in Rajkot, Gujarat, every year 10 lakh diesel machines were made for irrigation for the farmers. But now 1 lakh diesel engines are being made. If all the sources of solar energy in Gujarat are tax-free, then the government will not have to give subsidy on the farm. 20 thousand crores can be saved in a year.
A diesel engine runs at 50 bore in Dhundi village. Farmers had to spend Rs0.16 to 0.20 per unit of electricity on diesel usage as against 60 paise per unit of electricity given to the farmers by the government. The farmers here cultivate crops such as maize, millet, cotton, Diwali, tobacco, potato, sweet potato, and other vegetables. Now the Solar receives energy revenue.
Five year journey
There are 9 solar power plants of 71.4 kW. There are 3 plants of 10.8 kW, 3 plants of 8 kW, 3 plants of 5 kW. 350 units of electricity are generated daily. 9 farmers were provided 95 percent assistance not by the government but by the National Solar Clean Mission NGO IWMI. Dhundi Solar Energy Utility Cooperative Circle (DSUSUSM) was formed in June 2015. Capacity of 56.4 KWP for solar irrigation pump with 6 farmer members supported by IWMI. It was a micro grid construction.

Social organization helped
In Gujarat, BJP and Congress governments could not provide electricity. It cost Rs 500-700 per day to irrigate water with diesel pumps. 20,000 was spent every month on diesel. If an electric water pump were introduced, it would have given 50 percent more water than a diesel engine. An NGO of the world helped the farmers here and now solar energy is cultivated here. Based on which the Sky and Kusum scheme has been put in India. The central government has taken note.
Colombo World Institute Project
The project was launched in 2016 by the International Water Management Organization – IWMI in Anand. Headquarters in Colombo. The main center of India is in Delhi. The main function of the institute is to conduct research on water management and falling groundwater levels in agriculture. It is a work of research to benefit farmers. So that water can be saved.
The IWMI organization provided financial assistance of Rs 46 lakh. 6 farmers had invested 5 lakh rupees. The NGO has constructed 2.8 km at a cost of Rs 15 lakh. Long power lines were spent to expand the power company’s line. Helped in signing power sale agreements with Gujarat Electricity Board. The congregation now has 16 farmers.
Through the International Water Management Institute Colombo – Tata Water Policy Program (Anand), 9 farmers have been provided with solar system with 95% support under National Solar Energy Mission IWMI. Drip irrigation. The cost of 20-25 thousand rupees per month is saved. The cooperative gets an additional income of Rs 5,000 per month per farmer. The biggest thing is that farmers save time. 9 farmers from a village in Gujarat did what the BJP and Modi government of Gujarat could not do, with the help of a social organization.
In the first year of 2017
In 2017, there were 6 power plants with a capacity of 56.4 kW. In which, by irrigating 40,000 units of solar power and saving 45,000 units of electricity, he earned Rs 2 lakh per year by selling to a government company. This was his debut. In 2017, a team from the country of Zambia came to see solar energy. 10×10 feet of space is required per kilowatt.
In 2019
Funds of Dhundi village Pravind Punjabi Parmar and village farmers came up with the idea of setting up solar power plants to provide regular electricity at affordable prices. In 2015, 8 to 10.8 kW of solar panels were installed in his farm. Electricity production started in January 2016. Has a 25-year contract with the power company. In the first year from January 2016 to May 2017, 1 lakh power units generated solar power. Then the other 3 farmers joined the cooperative society. As of August 1, 2019, 2.09 lakh units of electricity have been sold. During this period, the congregation has earned Rs 12 lakh.
Government had to plan
Seeing the success of the farmers of Dhundi village, the Gujarat government has formulated the Surya Shakti Khedut scheme. Which has been implemented throughout the state. The power company can sell electricity for 7 years at Rs 7 per unit. Currently 12500 farmers are generating electricity through such cooperative societies. Since the Government of Gujarat formulated the Solar Energy Policy in 2009, most states in India have made such a policy.
300 days of sunshine. In which 5 trillion kWh of electricity can be generated in India. 10 thousand crores is equal to one trillion. In 50 thousand crore kWh, 3 thousand crore kilowatt solar power can be generated in Gujarat.
Government announcement in 2018
In June 2018, Kisan Yojana-SKY was announced by the Government of Gujarat for solar energy worth Rs 870 crore. The government has to spend Rs 3600 crore this year. In which 60 percent grant-in-aid is received from the Central and State Governments. The remaining 35 percent is debt. 7 for 7 years Rs. Per unit and for the remaining 18 years Rs.
Purchases power at the rate of 50.50 per unit. Farmers will have to do this by forming a committee. Uday Singh Chavda for the farmer got Rs. Vij Company and EV Institute provide Rs 2.50. The scheme provides returns on investment to farmers in 8 to 18 months. Farmers could get water during the day. The government provides solar panels. Provides loans.
